We stayed in the hotel for the convenience of going to the Air Supply concert at the Event Center. We have stayed before at West Baden but never at French Lick and we enjoyed it. I loved the easiness to go from one hotel to the next and enjoyed both of their facilities like the pools.
I wish it was more affordable. If that, I would go there more often for sure!!

I went to deli to get a quick lunch at 12:30 on 4/19. I ordered a quasedia at 12:30 and at 12:47 I told the bartender that had a meeting at 1:00 and wanted to know how much longer it would be. He did come back and say it is coming right out. The bartender did not come back out after that to let me know if I should be expecting it any time soon. At 12:57 I left for my meeting with no lunch.

The hotel was beautiful with lots of charm and character. The heated pools were also great.
The town this beautiful hotel and West Baden is located in is less than ideal; town looks very poor and rundown. Our room was quite small for the money with no sitting area, not even queen beds and did not include any refrigeration. Also for the money I would pay to ground the pool according to staff so the quests can use the indoor pool in bad weather. One of our days there the pool was closed most of the day.
